We design and implement social, productive, educational, community-based, environmental, and institutional-strengthening programs and projects. We work with public entities, international cooperation agencies, nongovernmental organizations, companies, foundations, and communities to adapt each intervention to the needs of the population and the territory.
Our lines of work draw on documented institutional experience and also reflect the fields in which we are authorized and prepared to operate under our corporate purpose. Our history supports our capabilities, but it does not imply that the current legal entity directly implemented every project carried out throughout our broader trajectory.
Our Lines of Work
Income Generation and Productive Projects
We design, launch, and strengthen enterprises, productive units, associations, and life-plan initiatives for families experiencing vulnerability, rural populations, victims, rural communities, and people participating in reincorporation processes. We combine technical assistance, training, collective organization, and solidarity-economy approaches to build capabilities that support sustainable income generation.
Children, Adolescents, Education, and Health
We develop programs focused on protecting rights and supporting the comprehensive development of children, adolescents, and young people. Depending on the scope of each project, activities may include early childhood education, training, protective environments, nutrition, food assistance, breastfeeding support, life planning, and support in accessing education and health services. This line of work does not represent the direct provision of medical or clinical services.
Community Strengthening, Territorial Development, and Culture
We strengthen community organizations, civic participation, local capabilities, and social cohesion. We develop initiatives adapted to rural, urban, and ethnic contexts, including territorial-development activities, small-scale social or community infrastructure, and cultural processes that contribute to stronger communities.
Peacebuilding, Social Inclusion, Citizenship, and Human Rights
We promote initiatives related to peaceful coexistence, social and economic inclusion, citizenship, leadership, and the protection of rights. This line of work may serve victims, people participating in reintegration or reincorporation processes, and other groups facing barriers to opportunity, stronger life plans, and access to public programs and services.
Technical Assistance and Institutional Strengthening
We support entities and organizations in program design and implementation, methodology development, team training, territorial management, and coordination among stakeholders. We tailor our teams to the technical and operational requirements of each intervention and document its implementation and results.
Environmental Sustainability and Ethnic Communities
We design and implement conservation, restoration, land-use planning and property-regularization, ecosystem-services, and sustainable territorial-management initiatives. We use intercultural and community-participation approaches in work involving ethnic, farming, and rural communities, respecting the particular characteristics of each territory.
How We Work
We Understand the Context
We begin with the characteristics of the population, the territory, the stakeholders involved, and the project's technical conditions.
We Design a Viable Response
We structure the technical, operational, and financial components needed to meet the objectives and requirements established by the responsible entity.
We Bring Capabilities Together
We assemble interdisciplinary teams and local professionals, and coordinate the participation of entities, organizations, and communities when the project requires it.
We Implement Responsibly
We carry out the agreed activities, track commitments, and document deliverables and results under the rules of each contract, agreement, or program.
Institutional Scope
Corporación Flor Naciente does not ordinarily operate as a direct grantor of subsidies or financial assistance. When a program includes transfers, incentives, or similar support, Flor Naciente implements them only under the mandate, funding, rules, and controls of the contracting or funding entity.
